Boundaries by design

To protect speed, clarity, and margins, some categories are intentionally out of scope for the flat fee:

Is this a law firm engagement or a separate company?

This is a productized legal offering delivered by partners at Thompson Burton PLLC. Your engagement is with the firm, and all work is performed under that structure and supervision, subject to conflicts checks and a written engagement agreement.

Why a 12-month commitment?

Installing, stabilizing, and then running your Startup Legal OS™ is not a one-off task. The real value comes from the 7-day install, the 90-day cleanup, and the ongoing monthly rhythm. A 12-month commitment lets us do all three properly. If you need flexibility, we offer a month-to-month option at $8,500/mo.

What if I need something outside the system?

If you need work outside the defined scope—litigation, M&A drafting, fundraising docs, executive employment agreements—we scope it separately and handle it at preferred Member Rates. That way, high-intensity work doesn’t slow down the core GC system.

Can this replace hiring a full-time GC?

What jurisdictions do you cover?
